Rakkyo Onions

September 25, 2017 // One thing I find rewarding in gardening is taking grocery store items and planting them. I’ve grown Lemon Grass, Purple Potatoes, Green Onions, Shiso, Sweet Potatoes, Sugar Cane and other produce from the grocery store. Today we went to a Japanese grocery store and I spotted these Onions called Rakkyo. I was curious about them so I bought them to grow. Hopefully, I can propagate more.
